Leonid Drobov was born in 1926 in Belarus. He finished Art College in Minsk, graduated in Minsk Art Academy 1958. He was taught by I. Akhremchik, P. Krohalev, A. Mazalev. Since 1965 he takes part in Art exhibitions. He worked in the field of easel painting, PHD in Belarusian Art history 19-20c. He is a Doctor of Art studies 1984. Gold medal of USSR Art Academy. Since 1964 he is a member of Artists Union.
