Sergey Solomko (1867-1928) was a painter, watercolorist, illustrator and designer from the Russian Empire. Solomko made illustrations for stories by Pushkin, Chekhov and poems by Lermontov ; he was one of the artists who illustrated “ Dead souls” by Gogol. After 1900s, Solomko worked for Imperial Porcelain Factory and The House of Faberge.
Sergey Solomko painted scenes from Old Russian life with epic-fairy-tale architecture and bright colourful costumes.
